Let’s Go Antiquing with Joan Buchanan
Joan likes to shop estate sales when she’s abstaining from work in Sacramento
The 15th District’s abstaining Assemblywoman Joan Buchanan (D-Yard Sale) has invited you to go estate sales shopping with her!
It turns out that the State of California has more than $5.7 billion in unclaimed property. Buchanan sent out a press release encouraging Californians to check the lost and found and get some cool stuff. Everything from bank accounts to insurance policies to mineral interests.
Is this Joan’s idea for closing the $20 billion budget deficit she helped create? It must pain her to know there’s so much stuff sitting right in her State of California garage untaxed!
Joan Buchanan is part of the problem…too bad this is her best shot at a solution.
California voters deserve a representative that will do the job. That means making tough decisions to get our budget balanced, our economy moving again, and creating jobs for Californians. As San Ramon Mayor, Abram Wilson balanced the budget every year and funded an unprecedented budget reserve equal to 50% of the city’s budget. He worked with the business community to create jobs and make San Ramon a competitive business environment.
That’s the kind of leadership we need in Sacramento.
